This is where we draw the line by Sue Hill
This mixed media landscape on canvas was inspired by cubist art. Sue was interested in creating a prismatic-type landscape. She primed the canvas and textured it in several areas before laying out her ideas in charcoal. The landscape itself was influenced by eclectic photographic references that Sue had taken, before painting in acrylics. The scene is of two people walking up a hill towards barn-like buildings and trees in the distance.
Sue has sealed the finished painting with a matt varnish, painted the edges black and the back is wired and ready to hang. Sue has labeled the painting and signed it at the back.
