Let’s Get Quacking by Sue hill
This mixed media started by gluing wrap paper in pieces over the canvas. Sue drew in the two ducks from a photographic reference she had taken and with white washes, (white with medium) of acrylic paint she filled in the body of the ducks. To highlight and shade various areas on the body of the ducks Sue painted coloured blocks of washes so that the only opaque paint is on the ducks’ webbed feet and their bills.
She has sealed the finished painting with a matt varnish, painted the edges black and the back is wired and ready to hang. Sue has labeled the painting and signed it at the back. It is ready to hang
