Safe Dip
Safe Dip by Sue Hill
‘Safe Dip’ was inspired by a boat trip that Sue and her partner took to the north-west coast of Western Australia from Wyndham to Broome. It is a beautiful scenic coastline with crystal clear waters and tall cliffs but with the hidden danger of saltwater crocodiles lurking on the rocks and sea. At one location on a really hot day, the crew of the boat took some of the travellers to a beach area where they were allowed to have a cooling dip in the sea while under the watchful eye of a crew member. Sue has endeavoured to capture this scene in this acrylic painting.
The painting is in landscape format and it is sealed with matt varnish. The edges are painted black and it is wired and ready to hang. It is signed on the back
