Friends by Sue Hill
Sue textured this painting and coated the texture with an orange/red acrylic base. The idea for the painting came from a photograph Sue had of a large woman sitting on a log with her dog on the water’s edge facing the beach and bush. She added two additional people and another dog in the centre of the painting.Sue added their clothes reflected in the shallow water. Sue hoped to portray the very dry bush of north Queensland with the enjoyment of water on a hot day.
The painting is sealed with matte varnish and it is wired and ready to hang. The edges are painted black and Sue has signed the painting on the back.
